Hand-framed – 200 x 100 cm

This piece is inspired by celestial phenomena. The deep black upper section represents a solar eclipse, while the gold and lighter lower areas symbolize the return of sunlight.

The surface is built up using a mix of gold leaf, textured paste, sand, crushed mother of pearl and layered paints — creating a rich texture that plays with light and depth.
