Lollipop is the vibrant “big sister” of Melancholie; bolder in tone, but still carrying that same fluid emotion. This piece features my favorite ultramarine blue, combined with rich layers of pink, red and purple that flow like candy stripes across the canvas.

The title hints to the playful energy and sugar-rush intensity of sweets. But beneath the brightness lies a deeper undercurrents of feeling. Sweet at first glance.
