The gaze that holds you.

Oculus explores the idea of perception, of seeing beyond the obvious.

While the peacock is often admired for its vibrant tail, this piece shifts the attention to a more subtle focal point: the head. Often overlooked, it holds strength and elegance that balances the extravagance of its feathers.

The title Oculus, Latin for “eye,” refers both to the bird’s striking gaze and the iconic eye-shaped patterns in its plumage. It’s a reflection on beauty, attention and the unseen details that often carry the most meaning.
