Through everything, we remain.

Materials: acrylic paint, modeling paste, sand, bronze shimmer & gold leaf

Hand-framed – each 100 x 70 cm

This painting was created for a couple who has been together their entire lives. They have shared both love and hardship, but one thing has always remained: they chose each other, again and again. That continuity is the foundation of this artwork.

The composition is dynamic because it reflects real life: unpredictable, layered and sometimes chaotic. Through all of that movement runs one element that never disappears: the golden line. It represents the one certainty this couple has always had: their unbreakable connection. It is the visual expression of loyalty and commitment through a lifetime.

The dominant blue contrasts with the yellow walls, bringing balance and freshness to the space. The warm earth tones refer to their darker flooring and add depth. The gold leaf line remains central; it is the element that holds everything together, just like their bond. The colonial-style wooden frame connects the work to the surrounding furniture, ensuring the artwork does not stand apart but becomes part of the space.

This painting is about choosing each other; every day, for a lifetime and beyond.
